6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup onions, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 bag of turkey stuffing (16 oz.)
2 ¼ cups turkey stock (from pre-made stock - jar or can)

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add onions, carrots and celery and cook over low heat until translucent.
2. In a large mixing bowl combine the onions, carrots and celery mixture to the bag of dry stuffing mix. Add turkey stock and mix together until wet.
3. Store mix until ready to use, making sure that it has cooled down if you are using it to stuff a turkey.

This recipe is from Julie Geary of Classic Cooks Catering and uses a pre-packaged stuffing mix in order to save time. Choose any mix of your choice. Because you are adding some fresh cooked ingredients it will taste more like homemade stuffing. This stuffing can also be made a day before the turkey is cooked in order to save time. (If you do this, refrigerate over night.)
