Ingredients

4 cups carrots, sliced and steamed until tender
1-2/3 cups water or vegetable stock
2-3 tablespoons gluten-free tamari soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons butter or 1-2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons parsley
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
several dashes kelp
1/4 teaspoon red pepper to taste
several dashes onion or garlic powder OR a few crushed mint leaves - optional

Directions

Liquify all ingredients until smooth in a blender or food processor.  Then heat the soup in a saucepan on low-to-medium heat just up until a boil.  Do not boil. Serve hot.  Garnish with chopped chives or green onions or fresh parsley if desired.
