1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons jalapeno pepper jelly
cilantro sprigs for garnish, optional
red chili peppers for garnish, optional
lemon slices for garnish, optional


1. In small dish, combine chili powder, cumin, garlic salt and cayenne pepper. Rub mixture on each chicken breast half.
2. In skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook, turning, about 12 minutes or until chicken is brown and fork can be inserted in chicken with ease.
3. Meanwhile, in another skillet, place lemon juice, lime juice and jalapeno pepper jelly; bring to boil. Cook, stirring constantly, about 1 minute, or until mixture thickens. Spoon sauce over chicken. Garnish if desired with cilantro sprigs, red chili peppers and lemon slices.
