1 package won ton wrappers or egg roll wrappers
Peanut oil for frying
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1. If using egg roll wrappers, cut each dough square into 3 strips; then, cut each strip in half crosswise. If using won ton wrappers, cut each into two rectangles. Repeat until you have 48 pieces.
2. To shape, with a small sharp knife, make three lengthwise slashes in each dough rectangle, not cutting through either edge. Tuck one end of rectangle through the center slash; pull it through and back forming a "bow."
3. Heat oil to 375 degrees F. While oil is heating, combine confectioners sugar and cinnamon. Arrange several thicknesses of paper towels on a cooling rack. Fry a few of the bows at a time in hot oil, turning once, for about 1 minute or until golden brown. Lift out with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle sugar mixture over bows. Repeat with remaining bows. Sprinkle again with sugar mixture before serving, if desired.
