2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped ripe olives
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 rib-eye steaks, cut 1 inch thick
4 pita bread
Chopped parsley for garnish, optional

1. Preheat broiler. In small bowl, combine feta, olive oil, lemon juice and olives; set aside.
2. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, basil, oregano and salt. Rub each side of steaks with this spice mixture. Place steaks on broiler pan, broil 4 inches from heat for about 4 minutes. Turn and broil 4 minutes longer for medium. Top each steak with an equal amount of reserved cheese topping. Broil an additional 1 to 2 minutes to brown topping.
3. Remove steaks from broiler and let rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes. Slice thinly against the grain. Serve in pitas, garnished with parsley, if desired.

Warm the pitas in the oven for a few minutes before stuffing. Add chopped tomatoes and shredded romaine lettuce to the pitas, if desired.
