1 (16-ounce) package baby carrots
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice (optional)
1 teaspoon lemon juice


1. In medium saucepan place carrots and water to cover ; bring to a boil over high heat. Cook 10 minutes, or just until tender. Drain well.
2. Return carrots to saucepan and add honey, butter, cinnamon allspice, if using; cook, tossing gently, 2 minutes, or until glazed. Serve immediately.
