4 loin pork chops, 3/4-inch thick
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon oil
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
1/4 teaspoon dried basil


1. Season pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
2. In large nonstick skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and brown on one side over medium heat; turn chops and add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Serve immediately.

These chops are full of flavor but can be prepared with basic pantry ingredients.
