Ingredients

Dressing:
2/3 cup nonfat or light sour cream
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 green onions, sliced
2 to 3 teaspoons hot-sweet mustard
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Salad:
Butter lettuce leaves
4 cups strawberries, stemmed and halved
2 cups assorted fresh fruit pieces, such as blueberries, raspberries, peaches, plums, melon or kiwi
8 (1-ounce) slices lean turkey and/or ham
1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts
French bread, optional

Directions

1. Prepare dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, vinegar, onions and mustard; season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
2. Assemble salad: Line 4 dinner plates with lettuce. Arrange strawberries, assorted fruit, turkey and/or ham and sprouts on lettuce. Serve with dressing on the side and French bread, if desired.
