2 cloves garlic
2 cups frozen peas, cooked according to package directions and drained
1/2 cup cilantro leaves
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1. In a food processor bowl, fitted with the metal blade and motor running, drop garlic cloves through feed tube; process 10 seconds.
2. Through feed tube, add peas, cilantro, onion, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce; process until smooth. Season with salt and pepper; cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
Because it's made with peas instead of the traditional avocados, this version of guacamole is lower in fat.
